THE VITAMIN BRIDGE EXPANDS INTO GEORGIA WITH SUPPORT FROM THE GEORGIA BAPTIST HEALTH CARE MINISTRY FOUNDATION

Coppell, TX: Today, The Vitamin Bridge announced that they received a grant from The Georgia Baptist Health Care Ministry Foundation (GBHCMF) for the purposes of expanding its prenatal vitamin program into Georgia.

The Vitamin Bridge’s program provides bottles of prenatal vitamins to under-resourced moms-to-be through a network of first-touch providers. Each bottle of vitamins is donated to or purchased by The Vitamin Bridge through relationships with national supplement manufacturers and distributors.

This grant awarded by GBHCMF will allow The Vitamin Bridge to:

  1. partner with Georgia nonprofits providing pregnancy care
  2. ensure that 10,000 moms-to-be in Georgia have the opportunity for a healthier start in their pregnancy

The Vitamin Bridge was awarded the grant at the GBHCMF Awards Luncheon on February 16 hosted at the North Metro Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, GA.

GBHCMF Executive Director Larry Wynn said, “We believe Jesus Christ made healing his first priority, and then taught afterwards. These grants exist to demonstrate the love of Jesus, ensuring that all Georgians have access to life-giving quality hands-on health care. For more than 100 years, the Georgia Baptist Health Care System has offered a ministry of healing to those in need. We continue this work by offering a better quality of life to the people of Georgia through needed health care ministries, and to help research and develop new health care services that make a positive impact in their lives.”
